Born in Czechoslovacia in 1947, Bohuslav came to England in 1955. He studied at Manchester and the Central School of Art in London. (DIP. A. D. Hons.) Since leaving teaching he has made his living as a full -time painter.

His paintings have featured on television and are included in many public and private collections, ranging from that of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia, to Coopers and Lybrand - Deloitte.

His exhibitions have included The Royal Academy; The Manchester Academy; The Royal Society of Painters, Etchers and Engravers; The Pastel Society Exhibition; and the International Contemporary Art Fairs at Olympia.

He now works from his studio / gallery at 58 Burnley Rd. Todmorden, Lancs. OL14 5EY and his work can also be seen on www.bohuslav.co.uk
